The Sport England Clubmark scheme is a national framework that enables sports National Governing Bodies and their affiliated clubs to set and meet standards that will lead to better quality sports provision for children and young people. In particular, the standards are designed to ensure that clubs provide a safe, effective, child-friendly environment in which young people can participate in sports.

In the words of Sport England, "the Clubmark scheme has been developed to enable children, and young people, their parents/carers and others with an interest in sport, to recognise clubs that are committed to providing a quality experience". The scheme is being supported at a national level by Sport England, the participating sports National Governing Bodies and the Child Protection in Sport Unit, and local authorities will be promoting Clubmark at a local level.
